Little Gators

Little Gators


 

The Little Gators class was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4 through 6. This program uses games and exercises like "Stranger Danger" to teach young students basic self-defense principles and other skills that will help them achieve in school and in life.The Little Gators program focuses on self-esteem, respect, discipline and confidence development along with coordination, listening, memorization and attention skills. Studies have shown that preschool children who participate in structured challenging activities such as the Little Gators program earn greater than average grades in school.

Juniors

The Juniors class is designed for children from ages 7 through 12. It improves coordination for kids growing up having to deal with phases of awkwardness. Children learn to simultaneously perform different movements with their feet and hands, balance and jump on one leg, and predict similar movements in the other students. The program also promotes Mental Awareness so that students can recognize unsafe situations. This class also develops self-discipline in order to increase your children’s attention span and promote concentrations skills. As students achieve higher ranks, they are proud of the rank they have achieved so they gain self-confidence. Our Juniors program is designed to fit everyone.

Adults

 

Adults


 

The Adults class is a complete physical fitness program. Taekwondo is a complete workout, involving every aspect of athleticism including balance, coordination, strength, endurance, and flexibility. An essential part of self-defense is recognizing a bad situation for what it is. Our students learn how to recognize an unsafe situation, and what to do about it. Our Adult classes help with stress as well. There’s nothing like pounding on a bag and yelling really loud at the end of a long day at work. Taekwondo is a safe outlet for frustrations at work, home, or during the commute. This program can help any age, size, or weight.
